Am 07. Dezember fand der alljährliche Weihnachtsmarkt auf dem Platz vor „Uns Dörpshuus“ in der Rendsburger Straße statt. Die Vielfältigen Stände der verschiedenen Vereine und Verbände lockten nicht nur Borgstedter Bürger an. Die SPD Borgstedt bot an ihrem Stand Lachs-, Käse und Frikadellenbrötchen an. Für die kleinen Gäste gab es zusätzlich noch „Klatschbrötchen“. Mit Musik des Orchesters der freiwilligen Feuerwehr Borgstedt und dem Besuch des Weihnachtsmannes wurde allen Generationen ein schöner zweiter Advent beschert.
